ABOUT ME

My name is Anna Marcus.  I am originally from the former USSR, and have been living in Sydney, Australia for the past 20+ years.

Since I came to live in this beautiful country, my cooking has evolved dramatically and become, as I describe it, a multicultural cook.  I enjoy the tastes and flavours of different cuisines that make Sydney a great cooking destination and that reflected on our dinner menu - my favourites being Middle Eastern, Thai, Vietnamese and Italian.

I love following recipes by Jamie Oliver, Yotam Ottolonghi, Neil Perry and Gordon Ramsay, however I try to stay away from the recipes that involve a lot of foreign ingredients that require a special trip to some ethnic shop 20 km away from my home or spices that I would not use as frequently as the expiry date on the packaging suggests. 

All and all, my food is fresh, tasty, flavoursome, reasonably healthy and very easy to cook.  My family and friends love it and I hope you will love it too.  Enjoy!!!
